1. Rappel : Workshop "interstellar magnetic fields" - 27-29 avril 2015, Toulouse
We would like to remind you that a PCMI workshop on interstellar magnetic fields will take place at IRAP, Toulouse, on April 27-29, 2015. This workshop will bring together interested people from the Planck and radio polarization communities. It will cover both observational aspects (recent advances with LOFAR and Planck, status of upcoming instruments : PILOT, ALMA, NIKA2, SKA..) and theoretical aspects (numerical simulations, galactic dynamo, X-shape magnetic fields...).

2. Colloque "OHP-2015 : 20 years of Giants Exoplanets" - 5-9 October 2015
The Colloquium "OHP-2015" will be hosted to review all observed characteristics of giant gaseous exoplanets, from 51 Peg b up to distant giants including Jupiter-like exoplanets, and all related theoretical works. We propose to discuss the key questions regarding giant planets and how to solve them in the coming years, exploring the synergies between current and new facilities, and confronting the predictions of theories.
Information, registration and abstract submission is done through the colloquium webpage.
We remind that only 80 participants could attend the conference. Beyond this number, people will be placed on a waiting list. Students and post-docs are encouraged to participate and can apply for a financial support (using this e-mail).

We are glad to annonce the "Exoplanetary Atmospheres and Habitability
Thermodynamics, Disequilibrium and Evolution focus group" workshop
that will be held in Nice at the Observatoire de la Cote d’Azur from
12 to 16 October 2015.
The first indicative program is available here.
The registration is free and includes lunches during the week as well as the social event (see this web page).
We encourage PhDs and Postdocs to apply and to submit an abstract.
There is a small amount of money for financial support to young researchers, please apply here before April 30th 2015.
