Organisé par le laboratoire Fizeau (Université de Nice Sophia-Antipolis, Observatoire de la Côte d’Azur, CNRS), ce colloque international se tiendra du 28 au 30 juin 2011 à Nice.

4. The Chemical Evolution of GRB Host Galaxies, 18-22 juillet 2011, Sesto Pusteria
Dear Collegue, as you might have known we are organizing a workshop this summer in the Sexten Center for Astrophysics from July 18 to July 22, 2011.
The web page of the workshop is HERE.
This center is organizing and hosting small and medium-size workshops on specific research subjects, during the Summer season. The idea is to offer to scientists, working in the fields of Astrophysics, Cosmology and related branches of Physics, the opportunity to meet in an informal environment and to carry out collaborative work, surrounded by the spectacular view of the Dolomites. For each workshop, we foresee the participation of a limited number of researchers.
This summer we are organizing a meeting with subjects closely connected to the Como workshop you will be attending.
The title of the workshop we are organizing, will be "The Chemical Evolution of GRB Host Galaxies "
Topics of the workshop will include :
GRB host galaxies, observations, classification, spectroscopy
GRB host galaxy models
GRB and SN connection
GRB and SN progenitors : theory, modeling, observations
GRB and SN local and cosmic rates
GRB and cosmology
We are looking forward to your partecipation to the workshop. Please let us know if you are interested to the workshop before Apr 25, 2011.
