1. LIGO and VIRGO collaborations announcement
The LIGO Scientific Collaboration and the Virgo Collaboration have issued a second open call for professional astronomers interested in signing agreements for the identification of electromagnetic counterparts to gravitational wave triggers found in the next science runs of LIGO and Virgo Advanced detectors, which will start next year.
You can find details on how to submit your application for this program in this web page ; applications should be submitted before February 16, 2015.
