1. Rappel : Workshop "Shaping galaxy evolution : galaxy interactions and feedback" - 21-23 Janvier 2013, Observatoire de Paris
In the framework of the program "Cosmology and Structure of the Universe" supported by the Scientific Council of the Astronomical Observatory of Paris, the workshop "Shaping galaxy evolution : galaxy interactions and feedback" is planned on January 21st -23rd, 2013 at the Observatory of Paris - http://aramis.obspm.fr/ paola/Interactions&feedback/Home.html.
Because of the high participation, the talks will be given at the IAP Amphitheater (www.iap.fr).
Much progress has been made over the last few years to identify which
processes shape the evolution of galaxies in different
environments. In this workshop we will cover the following subjects :
The baryon cycle and galaxy mass growth
Mergers - Starburst - AGN cycle
Mergers and interactions in different environments
Gas inflows and outflows

2. Planet Validation Workshop, 13-15 Mai 2013, Marseille
The “Planet Validation” Workshop proposes to ask fundamental questions about establishing the nature of exoplanetary candidates with respect to other stellar configurations. The stakes are high, as hundreds of Kepler candidates will be validated instead of firmly confirmed, and soon those detected by SPHERE, GPI, GAIA, ESPRESSO, EUCLID and maybe PLATO and TESS... The aim of the meeting is to bring together experts in data analysis, statistics, different planet detection methods, and stellar and galactic models and to discuss the choices made by the recently developed planet validation tools.
The workshop will be open to a maximum of 40 participants.

3. Ecole de Physique des Astroparticules : "Ondes Gravitationnelles" - 27 Mai-1er Juin 2013, Observatoire de Haute Provence
Nous avons le plaisir de vous annoncer la tenue de la quatrème école de Physique des Astroparticules intitulée "Ondes Gravitationnelles" qui se tiendra la semaine du 27 mai 2013 sur le site de l’Observatoire de Haute Provence (OHP). C’est une école thématique du CNRS, les agents CNRS peuvent demander à leur Administration Déléguée la prise en charge de leur voyage, leur hébergement est assuré par l’école. L’école contribuera à couvrir, sinon à réduire, les frais d’hébergement des enseignants chercheurs, post-doctorants et doctorants. De plus, ces derniers peuvent aussi demander une aide financière à leur formation doctorale. Les intéressés sont priés de s’inscrire au plus tôt pour que nous puissions organiser la logistique.

4. Programme éducatif "Science Académie"
Le programme "Science Académie" recherche des doctorant(e)s, post-doctorant(e)s, chercheurs, ingénieurs, technicien(ne)s qui accepteraient d’accueillir pendant 3 à 5 jours un(e) ou deux lycéen(ne)s afin de les initier aux pratiques de la recherche (stage d’observation, mini-projet de recherche...).
