2. The 14th International School for Space Simulations (ISSS14)
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the 14th International School for Space Simulations (ISSS14) online. Since time has not come yet to plan an in-person meeting in Japan because the coronavirus situation is unpredictable and unstable, we decided to have the special edition of ISSS, ISSS14-online, this September. We will focus on online schooling with no regular symposium.

Please, mark your calendar for ISSS14 and forward this information to those interested in ISSS14. Although the usual ISSS consists of two sections, the school and the symposium, ISSS14 focuses on the school portion. We will lecture online on essential simulation techniques such as MHD, Particle-in-cell(PIC), Hybrid, and Vlasov.
In addition to the virtual simulation lectures, we will have a poster session for young scientists using virtual conference software through which young scientists interact with each other and senior scientists. We will update the conference information on the ISSS14 Website.

3. Dernier rappel pour les inscriptions à l’Ecole Athena 2022
Registration for the first edition of the Athena School : “The Universe in the era of spatially resolved, high-resolution, X-ray spectroscopy” will close on 30 April. This CNRS thematic school will be held from the 20th to the 24th of June 2022 in Toulouse, France. It is open to the whole French astronomical community, regardless of prior experience in high energy astrophysics.
Athena is ESA’s next generation X-ray observatory. The aim of the school is to provide participants with knowledge of the scientific objectives of Athena, foster collaboration in the early stage of their careers, stimulate inter- and multi-disciplinary collaborations, and develop their skills in high-resolution X-ray spectroscopy.
The deadline to register is 30 April 2022. Each application will be reviewed by the Scientific Organisation Committee.
