La nouvelle section d’astronomie du CNAP s’est réunie hier pour élire son bureau. Le nouveau bureau est le suivant :

Présidents des sous-jurys d’audition : Daniel Egret, Jacques Le Bourlot, Roser Pello
Nous avons décidé également de repousser la date limite pour les dossiers de promotion des Astronomes et des Astronome-adjoints. Les dossiers devront parvenir avant le 25 novembre au ministère, voir cette page.

3. Conference : "The Epoch of Reionization : Theory-Simulations-Observations", April 23-27, 2012, Strasbourg
This is the first announcement for the conference "The Epoch of Reionization : Theory-Simulations-Observations" to be held in Strasbourg , April 23-27, 2012. Registration and abstract submission are now open on the website.
The mains topics include :
Methods and models for simulations of the EoR : physics of the emitters, modeling of the small scales properties of the IGM (chemistry, cooling), radiative feedback
The 21cm signal during the EoR : forecasting the observations and knowing how to extract the early properties of the Dark Universe.
Indirect probes of the Reionization : Interpreting data from QSO, LAE and galaxies down to z=0 to constrain the ionization history of the IGM
