2. Hybrid in-person/virtual workshop on the Hubble tension (Munich, Sep 27-Oct 1)

This hybrid in-person/virtual workshop will bring together people working on determinations of H0 to address the following topics :

 General overview of the H0 tension problem
 H0 from CMB measurements (WMAP, Planck)
 H0 from direct distances to core-collapse supernovae (adH0cc project)
 H0 from lensing (HOLISMOKES project)
 Blue supergiants and Cepheids as distance indicators
 The Cepheid period-luminosity relation and its calibration
 The Tip of the Red Giant Branch as a distance indicator
 The inverse distance ladder
 Megamasers
 Standard sirens

There will be two seminar-like presentations per day (typically during the morning) with plenty of time for discussion. All presentations will be streamed live to allow a large number of virtual participants. In-person participation is also possible but is strictly limited to the maximum capacity of the seminar room in accordance with local health regulations (updated on a regular basis).
