https://enquete.cnrs-dir.fr/index.p...

Bien cordialement,

Pour le groupe H de prospective INSU :
Véronique Buat

3. Workshop Europlanet Cometary Plasma Science Workshop, Helsinki, Finland, March 28-29, 2019

We welcome contributions to the Europlanet sponsored cometary plasma science workshop hosted by the Rosetta Plasma Consortium (RPC) on March 28-29, 2019 in Helsinki, Finland. The scope of the workshop covers all cometary plasma physics related topics, including the comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko and the Rosetta mission, other comets and missions as well as remote sensing, theory and laboratory studies. The organizer of the workshop is the Aalto University (Espoo, Finland) and it will be held at the Finnish Meteorological Institute at the Kumpula Campus in Helsinki.

4. Conference Exploring the Infrared Universe : The Promise of SPICA Crete, Greece, 20-23 May 2019

Deadline for early registration : 2019 February 15

The program of the meeting is now known, with 19 contributed talks, 54 contributed talks, and 86 posters.

We now invite the community to register for the conference. Until February 15, the fee is 275€, rising to 375€ after that.

At this conference, participants will learn about the capabilities and current design of SPICA (http://www.spica-mission.org), which includes a significant Guest Observer program, while discussing the exciting scientific promise of the mission.

Topics to be addressed :
— Galaxy evolution
— Metals and dust across cosmic time
— Star formation and the baryon cycle in galaxies
— Galactic star formation
— Formation of habitable planets
— Debris disks, planetary systems, and the Solar system

5. Atelier "Hot topics in Modern Cosmology - SW13" du 5 au 11 mai 2019, IESC Cargèse

Spontaneous Workshop (SW) brings together specialists on recent insights in Particle Physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology. The aim is to stimulate debate on common topics in views of providing us with innovating ideas. The workshop’s organization is based on an optimal number of concise presentations and enough space for discussion on emerging problems in order to encourage interactions among participants.

6. 4th COSPAR Symposium, Small satellites for sustainable science and development, Herziya, Israel, November 4-8, 2019

New Astrophysical Challenges with Nano and Micro Satellites

MSO Michel Boër, DSO Pietro Ubertini
Abstract deadline : April 30, 2019

The past three decades history of space astronomy has shown how important is the access to the Gamma-ray, X-ray, UV-optical, near IR spectrum from
space. The combined use of large ground based facilities and large space observatories has played a key role in the advance of astrophysics by providing access to the entire electromagnetic spectrum, allowing high sensitivity observations from the lower radio wavelength to the higher energy gamma rays. More recently the discovery of Gravitational Waves by the Virgo and LIGO observatories, and of the electromagnetic counterpart of the sources, have opened the era of multimessenger astrophysics. The combination of the information conveyed by these new messengers, neutrinos, gravitational waves, high energy particles, with the photon at all wavelengths, open a completely new view of the Universe and to the fundamental laws of physics. In few years from now large facilities will be launched, such as LISA, Athena, SVOM, JWST extending our access to the Universe. At the same time, new ideas of instrumentation are flourishing for launch on nano-satellites (cubesat), or micro-satellites. The workshops aims to present new concepts of missions on small satellites (nano or micro), either ideas, projects, or already approved instruments, the associated technology, and their scientific case. We expect to gather scientists, engineers, and industrial builders and operators. We hope that this common approach will result in new ideas and collaborations.
