    L’exercice de prospective nationale dans le domaine Astronomie – Astrophysique a d\u00e9marr\u00e9 cet automne par la mise en place de groupes de travail pilot\u00e9s par la Comission Sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e Astronomie Astrophysique. Il se conclura par la tenue d\u2019un colloque \u00e0 Autrans du 23 au 27 septembre 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Dans le cadre de l’engagement continu du groupe de travail Femmes en Astronomie de l’Union astronomique internationale (IAU) \u00e0 favoriser un environnement de travail diversifi\u00e9 et inclusif, nous sommes ravis d’annoncer une initiative visant \u00e0 reconna\u00eetre les chercheurs occupant des postes permanents ou contractuels ayant apport\u00e9 d’importantes contributions \u00e0 la promotion de l’\u00e9galit\u00e9 des genres en astronomie. Cette reconnaissance englobe les efforts de recherche li\u00e9s \u00e0 l’avancement de l’\u00e9quilibre des genres en astronomie, le mentorat et la promotion de l’\u00e9galit\u00e9 des opportunit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. EGU24 session NP6.5, 14-19 April 2024, Vienna (Austria)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    We would like to draw your attention to the following NP6.5 EGU2024 session, dedicated to non-linear processes in plasma physics, like turbulence, magnetic reconnection, shocks and particle acceleration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This session welcomes simulation, observational, and theoretical works relevant to studying the abovementioned processes. Particularly welcome this year will be works focusing on how non-linear processes are responsible for the energy transfer between fields and species and energy partition among species. We also encourage papers proposing new methods in simulation techniques and data analysis, for example, those rooted in Artificial Intelligence and GPU algorithms or those based on multi-point satellite observations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I\u2019m pleased to announce that the abstract submission is open for EGU 2024, held in Vienna on 14-19 April 2024 and online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The deadline for the abstract submission is 10 January 2024, 13:00 CET.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I would like to draw your attention to our session: Atmospheres, exospheres, and surfaces of terrestrial planets, satellites, small bodies, and exoplanets<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u00ab\u00a0This session primarily focuses on neutral atmospheres, surfaces, and exospheres of terrestrial bodies other than the Earth. This includes not only Venus and Mars, but also exoplanets with comparable envelopes, small bodies and satellites carrying dense atmospheres such as Titan, exospheres such as Ganymede, or with a surface directly exposed to space like asteroids. We welcome contributions dealing with processes affecting the atmospheres of these bodies, from the surface to the exosphere. We invite abstracts concerning observations, both from Earth or from space, modeling and theoretical studies, or laboratory work. Comparative planetology abstracts will be particularly appreciated.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n
