This unique fast-track position is designed for researchers with exceptional potential, offering a direct path to a permanent Full Professorship upon successful review after 4 years. Within the AI-GALILEO project, the candidate will develop cutting-edge astrophysical research, leveraging state-of-the-art artificial intelligence techniques to revolutionize the analysis of vast astronomical datasets. Workshop participants are welcome to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Workshop rational:<br>In just 3 observing cycles, the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) has already revolutionized the science of exoplanets and exoplanetary systems. Its unrivalled sensitivity and spectral resolution, particularly in the mid-infrared, have enabled previously unattainable diagnoses to be made. Significant breakthroughs have been made in all sub-fields related to exoplanetary systems, from transiting rocky planets to gas giant planets, and from the chemistry of inner disks to the physics of cold outer disks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the pressure to obtain observing time with this observatory keeps increasing, it is all the more necessary to join forces to develop competitive science cases with multiple expertise from observations to theory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To help the French exosystem community to develop strong and successful proposals, we will be holding the 3rd edition of the JWST Exosystem Proposal Preparation Workshop series on June 18-19 at the Laboratoire d&rsquo;Astrophysique de Marseille.<br>This two-day workshop will be organized in two parts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A session with invited talks from experts about the health of the telescope and its instruments, and reviews on the latest JWST results on Exosystems sub-fields,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A brainstorming session in small groups to develop collaborative proposals on key science cases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For questions or additional information, please contact the organizing team via the <a href=\"https:\/\/jwst-c5-exosys.sciencesconf.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">workshop website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Transmis par Elodie Choquet<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. Adaptive Optics School, October 12-17, 2025, Observatoire de Haute-Provence (France)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We are pleased to announce the second edition of the Observing with Adaptive Optics international school, which will take place at the Observatoire de Haute-Provence (OHP) from 12 to 17 October 2025.<br>This school is intended for young scientists, engineers, and technicians who wish to deepen their knowledge of adaptive optics technologies applied to astronomy. The program will feature lectures by leading experts in the field, hands-on sessions, and observations with the T152 telescope, which is equipped with the PAPYRUS adaptive optics system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the school, participants will conduct a complete adaptive optics observation, from the preparation of the scientific case and the telescope run to data reduction and presentation of the results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participation is free of charge, excluding travel expenses.
