L\u2019astronomie n\u2019est pas le domaine le plus vis\u00e9, mais les menaces de coupes claires dans le budget de la NASA ou les attaques contre les sciences du climat ne peuvent nous laisser indiff\u00e9rents. L&rsquo;atelier se d\u00e9roulera sur 3 demi-journ\u00e9es, l&rsquo;apr\u00e8s-midi du 11 Juin et la journ\u00e9e du 12 juin 2025 \u00e0 Paris, dans l\u2019amphith\u00e9\u00e2tre 43 du campus Pierre et Marie Curie (Jussieu) de Sorbonne Universit\u00e9. Cet atelier se d\u00e9roulera exclusivement en pr\u00e9sentiel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;apr\u00e8s-midi du 11 Juin, d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 des pr\u00e9sentations g\u00e9n\u00e9rales du projet, notament par Hector Socas Navaro, pr\u00e9sident de la fondation EST, et Rolf Schlienchenmeir, pr\u00e9sident du EST Science Advisory Group, introduira les enjeux scientifiques du projet et son int\u00e9r\u00eat en m\u00e9t\u00e9orologie de l&rsquo;espace, et r\u00e9unira des repr\u00e9sentants de REOSC-SAFRAN, BERTIN-ALPAO &amp; BERTIN-WINLIGHT. EST sera optimis\u00e9 pour l\u2019\u00e9tude du couplage magn\u00e9tique de l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re solaire et fournira des diagnostics des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s thermiques, dynamiques et magn\u00e9tiques du plasma solaire en utilisant l\u2019imagerie multi-longueur d\u2019onde, la spectroscopie et la spectropolarim\u00e9trie. International summer school \u00ab\u00a0Spectroscopic data analysis with iSpec\u00a0\u00bb, 2-5 Septembre, 2025, Wroclaw (Poland)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The University of Wroclaw (<a href=\"https:\/\/uni.wroc.pl\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/uni.wroc.pl\/en\/<\/a>) is pleased to announce the international summer school \u00ab\u00a0Spectroscopic data analysis with iSpec\u00a0\u00bb (2nd edition). It will take place in Wroclaw, Poland between 2 to 5 September 2025 in Wroc\u0142aw (Poland).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This school aims to provide participants with a solid foundation in the analysis of stellar spectra, with particular emphasis on deriving atmospheric parameters and chemical abundances. The sessions will be structured around iSpec (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.blancocuaresma.com\/s\/iSpec\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.blancocuaresma.com\/s\/iSpec<\/a>), a comprehensive tool designed for the treatment and interpretation of stellar spectroscopic data. As part of the learning experience, the school will also incorporate and explore recent advances in artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>iSpec facilitates a wide range of spectroscopic tasks, including removing cosmic rays, continuum normalization, resolution degradation, radial velocity correction, identification of telluric lines, and resampling. It also enables the determination of fundamental stellar parameters\u2014such as effective temperature, surface gravity, metallicity, microturbulence, macroturbulence, and rotational velocity\u2014for A, F, G, K, and M-type stars. These parameters can be derived through two complementary approaches: the synthetic spectral fitting technique and the equivalent width method.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The software integrates MARCS and ATLAS model atmospheres. It supports several widely used radiative transfer codes, including SPECTRUM (R. O. Gray), Turbospectrum (Bertrand Plez), SME (Valenti and Piskunov), MOOG (Chris Sneden), and Synthe\/WIDTH9 (Kurucz\/ATLAS). While iSpec offers a well-suited graphical interface for introductory use and educational purposes, its full potential is realized through its Python-based implementation. This approach is recommended for advanced scientific analyses as it ensures reproducibility and access to an extended set of features and customization options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the school, participants will attend a series of introductory lectures on iSpec and engage in hands-on exercises focused on determining the atmospheric parameters of A, F, G, K, and M-type stars. These exercises will use publicly available observational data and pre-computed synthetic spectra. L&rsquo;outil d&rsquo;analyse scientifique Gammapy, choisi par\/pour l&rsquo;observatoire international CTAO (Cherenkov Telescope Array Observatory), sera pr\u00e9sent\u00e9.
