    Ch\u00e8res et chers membres de la SF2A,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Notre repr\u00e9sentant\u00b7e actuel\u00b7le de la SF2A au sein du Coll\u00e8ge des Soci\u00e9t\u00e9s Savantes Acad\u00e9miques de France ne sera plus dans le prochain Conseil d\u2019Administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Il est essentiel que la communaut\u00e9 de l\u2019astronomie conserve une voix au sein du Coll\u00e8ge, qui joue un r\u00f4le actif et r\u00e9actif sur de nombreux sujets d\u2019actualit\u00e9 scientifique, politique et acad\u00e9mique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Le Coll\u00e8ge est un lieu d\u2019\u00e9changes et de coordination entre soci\u00e9t\u00e9s savantes de toutes disciplines ; y si\u00e9ger permet \u00e0 notre domaine d\u2019y \u00eatre repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 et entendu. Si vous souhaitez contribuer \u00e0 la vie acad\u00e9mique au-del\u00e0 de notre communaut\u00e9 et porter la voix de l\u2019astronomie dans les d\u00e9bats nationaux, nous vous encourageons vivement \u00e0 pr\u00e9senter votre candidature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Le CA du Coll\u00e8ge est statutairement renouvel\u00e9 par tiers chaque ann\u00e9e. Vous pouvez retrouver les statuts, la composition du CA 2025 et la liste des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s et associations membres du Coll\u00e8ge sur notre site web: https:\/\/societes-savantes.fr\/qui-sommes-nous\/<\/a>. Cette \u00e9lection est tr\u00e8s importante, car les membres du CA sont les moteurs de la politique du Coll\u00e8ge. De plus, cette ann\u00e9e, deux des trois vice-pr\u00e9sidents du Coll\u00e8ge arrivent au bout de leur deuxi\u00e8me mandat, Florence Hachez-Leroy, VP interdisciplinarit\u00e9 et R\u00e9mi Mounier, VP Vie acad\u00e9mique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    8 si\u00e8ges seront mis au vote : Sciences et technologies: 3 si\u00e8ges, Sciences de la vie et de l\u2019environnement: 2 si\u00e8ges, Lettres-Langues-SHS: 2 si\u00e8ges; membres associ\u00e9s: 1 si\u00e8ge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    La date limite pour le d\u00e9p\u00f4t des candidatures est le 10 d\u00e9cembre 2025 \u00e0 23:59<\/strong>. Chaque candidature doit \u00eatre parrain\u00e9e par une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 savante ou association membre du Coll\u00e8ge. Chaque membre peut parrainer jusqu\u2019\u00e0 2 candidatures et 2 membres d\u2019une m\u00eame soci\u00e9t\u00e9 peuvent int\u00e9grer le CA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Une fois les candidatures d\u00e9pos\u00e9es, l\u2019\u00e9lection aura lieu par scrutin \u00e9lectronique. Les r\u00e9sultats seront annonc\u00e9s lors de l\u2019AG qui aura lieu \u00e0 Paris le 6 f\u00e9vrier 2026, dans le cadre de notre congr\u00e8s annuel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Pour que le CA du Coll\u00e8ge soit \u00e9quilibr\u00e9, repr\u00e9sentatif de la communaut\u00e9 acad\u00e9mique et efficace, nous encourageons les candidatures de scientifiques divers (genre, \u00e2ge, statut,…) pr\u00eat\u00b7es \u00e0 s\u2019engager pour la communaut\u00e9 et \u00e0 contribuer \u00e0 porter la voix du monde acad\u00e9mique dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Chaque \u00e9lection est l\u2019occasion d\u2019adapter le CA aux activit\u00e9s du Coll\u00e8ge, et de pr\u00e9parer la succession \u00e0 des postes cl\u00e9s. Parmi l\u2019ensemble des candidatures d\u00e9pos\u00e9es cette ann\u00e9e, nous esp\u00e9rons que certaines seront int\u00e9ress\u00e9es par les fonctions suivantes :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. ESA Liaison Scientist<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    ESA’s Directorate of Science has opened a Liaison Scientist position for a scientist with a talent in science communication. The Liaison Scientist is responsible for identifying and implementing strategies to engage with scientific communities that benefit from the missions and data across ESA\u2019s Science Programme (e.g. via Town Halls, at science conferences and a regular newsletter). The Liaison Scientist should have a PhD in a related area of Space Science and experience in communication activities. They will work closely with the Project Scientists for ESA Science missions and will report to the Head of the Science Communication and Education Section.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. CFHT Community Survey Call for Proposals is now open<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    As outlined in its 10-year plan, the Canada-France-Hawai’i Telescope (CFHT) is opening 800-1400 nights, nominally over a 6-year period (2027B-2033A) for a Community Survey (CS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. MOSAIC\/ELT-France days, 14-15 January, 2026, Marseille (France)\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    We are pleased to announce that the first MOSAIC-France Days will be held at the Laboratoire d’Astrophysique de Marseille (LAM) from January 14th (noon) to January 15th (noon), 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This meeting will be a key opportunity for the French community to express its interest in MOSAIC and to engage in discussions on the scientific themes to be featured in the upcoming MOSAIC Red Book (expected by the end of 2026).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5. Conference Towards the Full Bloom of First Star, Galaxy, and Black Hole Formation Exploration: JWST + Multi-Facility Observations and Theory for Future Programs, March 23-27, 2026, Tokyo (Japan)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    We are pleased to announce the Tokyo conference \u201cTowards the Full Bloom of First Star, Galaxy, and Black Hole Formation Exploration\u201d held in March 23-27, 2026, at downton Tokyo, Japan.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In this conference, we will bring and discuss the latest observational and theoretical results, pushing the frontier of galaxy formation and cosmic evolution toward a comprehensive understanding of the first stars, galaxies, and supermassive black holes. We will also explore future programs with JWST and other current facilities. This meeting will additionally honor Toru Yamada’s contributions to both space- and ground-based programs, whose pioneering work in high-z galaxy studies continues to provide valuable insight for shaping the next generation of research that will fully bloom in the 2030s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
