This workshop will take place at Institut d\u2019Astrophysique de Paris from April 20th to April 24th. We will also broadcast the conference for registered participants through zoom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The objectives of this workshop, at the interface between astronomy and data science, are to discuss spectroscopic studies of molecular clouds both locally in the Milky Way and in nearby galaxies. D\u00e9tection de sursauts radio : la m\u00e9thode RIMS accessible \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Un communiqu\u00e9 r\u00e9cent de l\u2019Observatoire de Paris \u2013 PSL (<a href=\"https:\/\/observatoiredeparis.psl.eu\/la-detection-de-sursauts.html\">https:\/\/observatoiredeparis.psl.eu\/la-detection-de-sursauts.html<\/a>) pr\u00e9sente une nouvelle m\u00e9thode d\u2019analyse en radioastronomie : RIMS (Radio Interferometric Multiplexed Spectroscopy), d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e pour d\u00e9tecter efficacement des sursauts radio stellaires et potentiellement exoplan\u00e9taires dans de grands volumes de donn\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RIMS exploite le caract\u00e8re interf\u00e9rom\u00e9trique des observations radio pour analyser simultan\u00e9ment de multiples directions du ciel, transformant ainsi chaque observation en un outil de surveillance multi-sources \u00e0 haute sensibilit\u00e9. Visionnaire et b\u00e2tisseur, Roger-Maurice Bonnet a jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le d\u00e9terminant dans l\u2019\u00e9mergence et la structuration de l\u2019astrophysique spatiale europ\u00e9enne, des premi\u00e8res fus\u00e9es sondes fran\u00e7aises aux grandes strat\u00e9gies scientifiques de l\u2019ESA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pionnier de l\u2019astrophysique solaire spatiale en France d\u00e8s les ann\u00e9es 1960, il a tr\u00e8s t\u00f4t per\u00e7u le potentiel scientifique des nouvelles technologies spatiales et \u0153uvr\u00e9 \u00e0 leur mise en \u0153uvre \u00e0 travers des instruments et missions novateurs. Directeur fondateur du Laboratoire de Physique Stellaire et Plan\u00e9taire, il a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 faire de ce laboratoire une r\u00e9f\u00e9rence internationale, tout en pr\u00e9parant l\u2019\u00e9mergence de l\u2019Institut d\u2019Astrophysique Spatiale (IAS), dont il a accompagn\u00e9 la cr\u00e9ation et le d\u00e9veloppement scientifique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nomm\u00e9 Directeur scientifique de l\u2019ESA en 1983, Roger-Maurice Bonnet a profond\u00e9ment marqu\u00e9 la politique scientifique europ\u00e9enne en concevant le programme Horizon 2000, qui a structur\u00e9 plusieurs d\u00e9cennies de missions spatiales majeures, parmi lesquelles SoHO, Cluster, XMM-Newton, Rosetta, Herschel et Planck. Artisan essentiel de missions embl\u00e9matiques comme SoHO ou Mars Express, il a constamment d\u00e9fendu une science ambitieuse, fond\u00e9e sur la coop\u00e9ration internationale et l\u2019excellence instrumentale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apr\u00e8s l\u2019ESA, son engagement s\u2019est poursuivi au plus haut niveau international, notamment \u00e0 la t\u00eate de l\u2019ISSI et du COSPAR, o\u00f9 il a \u0153uvr\u00e9 pour le dialogue entre disciplines, g\u00e9n\u00e9rations et cultures scientifiques.
