Workshop Intrinsic Alignment, 18-19 June, 2026, IAP, Paris (France)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We are organizing a small workshop on intrinsic alignments on June 18\u201319 at the Institut d\u2019Astrophysique de Paris (expected around 20 participants). The event will bring together researchers working on intrinsic alignments in cosmology and astrophysics.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program will include ample time for in-depth presentations and discussions on a range of topics, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Impact of intrinsic alignments on weak lensing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Intrinsic alignments within the cosmic web<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Probing large-scale structure with intrinsic alignments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Current and future observations of intrinsic alignments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We warmly welcome contributions, including talks. Journ\u00e9es Scientifiques Galaxies de l&rsquo;ATCG 2026&Prime;, 12-14 October , 2026, IAP\/ObsPM, Paris (France): abstract submission deadline<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The deadline for abstract submission for the \u201cJourn\u00e9es Scientifiques Galaxies de l\u2019ATCG 2026\u201d is fast approaching:&nbsp;<strong>29 May 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The French Action Th\u00e9matique de Cosmologie et Galaxies (ATCG) organizes a national conference on Oct 12-14 2026 at the Institut d&rsquo;Astrophysique de Paris (IAP) and Observatory of Paris (ObsPM) on galaxy formation and evolution, nearby galaxies, and Galactic archeology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We particularly encourage researchers funded by the ATCG, students, postdocs, and young researchers in France or with ties to the French community to present their work. Registration is free of charge. Appel \u00e0 b\u00e9n\u00e9vole \u00e9dition 2026 de SpaceBus France<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019association SpaceBus France est \u00e0 la recherche d\u2019animateurs et d&rsquo;animatrices b\u00e9n\u00e9voles pour faire d\u00e9couvrir l\u2019astronomie au grand public du 28 juillet au 8 ao\u00fbt 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le principe est d\u2019animer un \u00e9v\u00e9nement autour de l\u2019astronomie dans une ville diff\u00e9rente chaque jour, sur des places publiques pour pr\u00e9senter une dizaine d\u2019animations et faire ainsi d\u00e9couvrir l\u2019astronomie, l\u2019espace et les m\u00e9tiers scientifiques au grand public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour notre septi\u00e8me \u00e9dition, nous serons entre Bordeaux et Bayonne. Nous avons besoin d\u2019une dizaine de b\u00e9n\u00e9voles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour information, les jours d\u2019animations, les horaires seront de 14h \u00e0 23h30 avec une pause pour le d\u00eener.
