Call for NRT proposals &#8211; 2027A<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the 2027A semester call for proposals to observe with the Nancay Radio Telescope. The submission deadline is:\u00a0<strong>1 November 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Nancay Radio Telescope (NRT, France) is a high sensitivity (1.4 K\/Jy at 21cm) meridian telescope (the tracking duration is 1 hour, and varies approximately as 1\/cos(DEC) ) with full polarization capability in the frequency range from 1.1 GHz to 3.5 GHz. The declination limit is &gt; -39 deg. Galaxy Cluster France Workshop, 26-27 November, 2026, Meudon (France) : registration and call for abstract<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a second announcement for the Galaxy Cluster France workshop, which will be held on 26\u201327 November at the Meudon Campus of the Paris Observatory. The programme is organised around five open questions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How do clusters build up their dark matter, stellar, and gas components across cosmic time?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What shapes the hot gas in clusters?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How does the cluster environment transform galaxies?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How can we use clusters as precision probes of cosmology and fundamental physics, beyond number counts and clustering?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How do we break galaxy formation\u2013cosmology degeneracies?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We invite PhD students and postdocs to propose contributed talks (15 min + 5 min for questions) via the online form available on the workshop webpage, before&nbsp;<strong>31 October<\/strong>:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/indico.obspm.fr\/event\/3124\/\">https:\/\/indico.obspm.fr\/event\/3124\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unless you have already done so, we also invite everyone who intends to attend in person to register on the workshop webpage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to venue constraints, in-person attendance is limited to 65 participants. EDSU 2027 Conference, May 10-14, 2027, Guadeloupe : first announcement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are pleased to announce the upcoming edition of the EDSU 2027 conference, which will be held in Guadeloupe from May 10 to 14, 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/indico.cern.ch\/event\/1561485\">https:\/\/indico.cern.ch\/event\/1561485<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The \u00ab\u00a06th World Summit on Exploring the Dark Side of the Universe\u00a0\u00bb &nbsp;provides a privileged forum for exchange between cosmologists, particle physicists, and astroparticle physicists, aiming to discuss recent advances and future prospects on major open questions in cosmology, astrophysics, and particle physics.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">abstract submission for scientific contributions is now open : from October 1st to&nbsp;<strong>December 31st<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The scientific committee&rsquo;s decisions on abstract acceptance will be communicated to you by the end of January. We warmly encourage you to submit your contribution proposals as soon as possible, and we look forward to welcoming you to this new edition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This edition will also place strong emphasis on science outreach, with a broad program of activities aimed at the general public and at schools alike, fostering direct exchange with the local community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The target audience spans amateur astronomers, schoolchildren, and the general public. Our central goal is to bring scientific culture to audiences far removed from major research centers, with a particular focus on inspiring girls toward careers in science.
